Derrimon Trading Limited and its group of companies showed up in their numbers for the 25th staging of the Sagicor Sigma Run on Sunday. There were approximately 135 members of the company participating to support the overall cause of raising funds to aid the improvements of the University Hospital of the West Indies Paediatric Unit and the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts.

Derrimon Trading Limited (DTL) and Dolla Financial, shared in a holiday philanthropic effort as sponsors of the annual Make A Child Smile Christmas Toy Drive, where 250 meals and donated treats were gifted to the Maxfield Park Children’s Home.

The Bridge 99 FM/ Irie Jam Radio under the guidance of its philanthropic organisation, IRIE Butterfly Foundation’s Chairperson and director of Bridge 99 FM, Syntyche Clarke, began the annual Make a Child Smile This Christmas Toy Drive several years ago in New York.

The successful Christmas treat has donated thousands of dollars worth of toys and gifts to children in the New York tri-state area over the years, thanks to donations from its staff, listeners and well-wishers.

Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances Ltd, in collaboration with Spicy Hill Farms and Woodcats International – companies under The Derrimon Trading Company, recently brought Christmas cheer to children of the End Time Basic School, an early childhood institution based in the Penwood Place community of St Andrew.

As part of the group’s consistent outreach, mentorship and support of the growth of the institution over the past few years, Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances said it continues to support the ongoing process of retrofitting the institution which will support the overall development of all stakeholders.

Derrimon selects Clarendon

DERRIMON Trading Company is bringing a new customer experience to central Jamaica with the completion of its newest Select Grocers location at Millennium Mall in May Pen, Clarendon.

The outlet, which opened to the public on Wednesday, November 16, is 41,000 square feet with two levels. The ground floor is 30,000 square feet and the upper level is 11,000 square feet.

Derrimon sees strong group results of $13.81 billion in revenue for 9 months ended Sept 30

Derrimon Trading Company Limited reported having strong results across the Group for the nine months ended September 30, 2022.

The consolidated results for Derrimon Trading Company Limited saw revenue of J$13.81 billion, which is J$1.613 billion more than the J$12.195 billion reported for the corresponding nine-month period in 2021, resulting in a 13.23 per cent increase in revenue.

Derrimon reports 12% increase in year-to-date profit

Derrimon Trading Company is reporting a 12 per cent increase in its year-to-date consolidated net profits even as it doubled its finance costs to fund expansion.

Derrimon’s net profit increased to $482.19 million, which exceeded the full-year performance of $444.22 million for 2021.
