DERRIMON TRADING GROUP RINGS IN THE CHRISTMAS CHEER FOR THE STUDENTS OF THE END TIME BASIC SCHOOL
(Kingston, Jamaica) Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances Ltd in collaboration with Spicy Hill Farms, Woodcats International companies under The Derrimon Trading Company, brought the Christmas cheer to the children of the End Time Basic School, an early childhood institution based in the Penwood Place community of St. Andrew.
As part of the group’s consistent outreach, mentorship and support of the growth of the institution over the past few years, Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances continues to support the ongoing process of retrofitting the institution which will support the overall development of all stakeholders. As part of their Christmas renovation projects, the school will be improving the facilities of a few of the classrooms of the institution. The Derrimon Group will be contributing to their Christmas endeavour through the provision of some well needed whiteboards, markers and board erasers.
General Manager of Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances Ms. Janice Lee shared, “CFF began to work with End Time Basic School in 2015. Since then each year we have supported the school with improvement of the infrastructure and carrying out Christmas Treats for the students. We believe that education is one way to ‘Reignite a nation for greatness’ in giving assistance, the school is able to carry out the mandate of education and to provide a one of a kind experience for all its children.”
The cheer didn’t stop there as CFF organised and hosted a Christmas treat for the children of the school on Friday December 9th. The fun-filled day gave children access to rides, goodies, including early childhood reading books and refreshments, courtesy of the Derrimon Delect brand and Santa’s crew on location.
Principal of the End Time Basic School, Mrs Mink Tulloch-Paige shared, “The children enjoyed their day to the max! I am grateful, because for many of them this may be the only source of enjoyment for the season. We are always grateful for CFF and the Derrimon Group as they have always gone above and beyond for us.”
Founded September 1995, the school currently stands as the home of education for 51 students. Through a curriculum that provides a well rounded experience for all its students, the school is established on the vision of holistic development in order to make better students and foster growth as they progress. Partnerships such as their existing relationship with the Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances allow them to ensure this vision is made a reality for every student who attends in every way and for every season.
